Hypertension
Hypertension, also known as high or raised blood pressure, is a condition in which the blood vessels have persistently raised pressure above 140/90 mmHg. Blood pressure is the force exerted by circulating blood against the walls of the body’s arteries, the major blood vessels in the body.
